On 12/29/2021, the world's largest batch of hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks was delivered to Baosteel (600019.SH). According to the company statement, Baosteel has received 60 units of 42-ton hydrogen fuel cell semi-trailer heavy-duty trucks produced by Higer Bus Company Limited (Suzhou). This is the world's largest delivery of hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks so far.
Baosteel is currently conducting a research project on reliability, adaptability and demonstration hydrogen fuel heavy trucks, a key initiative supported by Shanghai government.
It is reported that these vehicles are equipped with a 120kW hydrogen fuel cell system, produced by Shanghai Jening New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd., and the stacks are from the VLSII series fuel cell stacks produced by Shanghai Qingneng, a subsidiary of Qingneng Fuel Cell, with a rated power of 150kW.
In order to ensure the implementation of the project, Baosteel built a hydrogen refueling station with a daily hydrogen refueling capacity of more than 500 kilograms, to provide full-process services for the hydrogen supply of demonstration vehicles,
